Varun’s fear towards accepting his sexuality comes from knowing that he will not be accepted in a society that only promotes the hetrosexual ideas of masculinity. However, it is also important to know that masculine behavior is something a person creates for themselves. This means homosexual behaviour can be considered as masculine or unmasculine as you think of it to be rather than what society tells you.
